This is the view of the cove. Last year we had two adult bald eagles and three juveniles in the cove almost daily. At night the sound of loons will be all that is heard.

- Loon Lodge is a rustic cabin located in Franklin, Maine on a spring fed lake, 20 minutes from Ellsworth, 40 minutes from Acadia National Park. The camp has one bedroom that can sleep two and a loft with four beds. The camp is directly on the pond, almost one mile in on a well maintained dirt road. There is one bathroom and a separate shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and a new gas stove. Scroll through the "older posts" to see pictures of the interior.
